Dayton, Ohio - Lake County's Richard Stock hit a home run and drove in four runs to lead the Captains to a 5-1 victory over the Dayton Dragons on Saturday night. A crowd of 9,046 saw the game at Fifth Third Field.

Stock gave the Captains a 3-0 lead with his first home run of the season in the fourth inning with two men aboard. The blast to right field came with one out.

The Dragons scored their only run of the night in the fifth when Gabriel Rosa lined a home run to left field, his first of the year, to make it 3-1. But Lake County answered with two runs in the sixth to push their lead to 5-1. Stock's run-scoring single brought in the first run of the inning, and the second came across on a wild pitch to close out the scoring.

Dragons starting pitcher Sal Romano (4-6) suffered the loss. He worked five and one-third innings, allowing seven hits and five earned runs with one walk and five strikeouts.

The Dragons finished with six hits by six different players. Sebastian Elizalde and Phillip Ervin each had doubles along with the homer by Rosa.

Lake County starting pitcher Luis Lugo beat the Dragons for the second time in six days. He struck out seven over five innings without issuing a walk. He allowed just three hits and one run.

The Dragons (35-32) have lost the first two games of the series with Lake County after sweeping a three-game set with Bowling Green. The Dragons host the Captains on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field in the final game of the first half.
