Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lake County Captains (affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) in the second game of a three-game series.

Playoff Race : The Dragons were eliminated from contention in the first half East Division playoff race last night with their loss. The Dragons can still qualify for the playoffs by finishing first or second in the division in the second half, excluding South Bend and West Michigan in the standings.

Team Notes

The Dragons have clinched a winning record in the first half. They had not posted a winning record in the first half since 2007 when they went 44-26. The Dragons are 8-5 since their winless six-game road trip to Fort Wayne and West Michigan. The Dragons led the division or the wildcard race for all but one day from April 10-May 27.
