Canucks Re-Assign Corrado and Jensen

Vancouver Canucks President Trevor Linden announced today that the Canucks have re-assigned defenseman Frank Corrado and forward Nicklas Jensen to the AHL Utica Comets.

Corrado, 21, has appeared in 15 games with the Canucks this season, registering his first career goal and adding 17 blocked shots. In 56 games with the Comets this season, the Woodbridge, ON, native has collected 17 points (6-11-17) and 42 penalty minutes. The 6'1", 200-pound defenseman was originally selected by Vancouver 150th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Jensen, 21, recorded six points (3-3-6) in 17 games with the Canucks this season. In 51 games with the Comets, the Herning, DNK, native scored 15 goals and added five assists. The 6'3", 197 pound right wing was originally selected by Vancouver 29th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
