Cleveland Charge News Release
The Canton Charge (31-17), presented by SecureData 365 and powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, tied a franchise record for wins with a 122-111 road victory over the Erie BayHawks (12-37).
Canton led by as many as 23 before the BayHawks tied it at 96-96 with 6:11 left in the game. The Charge went on an 11-0 run immediately, holding off Erie the rest of the way thanks in part to going 17-of-22 from the foul line in the fourth quarter overall. Quinn Cook scored 14 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter to go along with six total assists and total rebounds in 36 minutes.
Canton's John Holland scored 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting with six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 36 minutes, Clippers assignment C.J. Wilcox scored 22 points with two steals in 36 minutes. Nick Minnerath came off the bench to net 18 points and grab nine rebounds in 30 minutes. On assignment in Erie from the Hornets, Aaron Harrison poured in a game-high 34 points and grabbed two steals in 39 minutes.
