NEWARK, DE - The Delaware 87ers defeated the NBA D-League-leading Sioux Falls Skyforce 104-87 at the Bob Carpenter Center on Saturday afternoon.

Christian Wood led the 87ers (20-27) with 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field while accumulating seven rebounds. David Laury had a versitaile double-double with 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting, 12 rebounds, and six assists. Ty Greene added in 21 points on 7-of-13 from the field, and 6-of-10 from the arc, while Rodney Carney put up 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field.

The Skyforce (38-9) were led by Rodney McGruder's 19 points on 7-of-12 field goals in a team-high 36 minutes. Big-man Jarnell Stokes scored 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting to go along with seven rebounds. Off the bench, Jabril Trawick finished with 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting, and Keith Benson went for 12 points.

Sioux Falls took a 29-24 lead after the first, paced by McGruder's nine points.

The Skyforce extended their advantage in the second quarter by way a combined 16 points from the bench, holding a 54-41 halftime margin.

Carney hit 5-of-7 field goals for 11 points and notched a pair of steals in the third, but the 87ers still trailed 74-69 through three quarters.

Delaware took over in the final period, behind 13 points from Greene, who stepped up to hit 4-of-5 three-pointers. The 87ers bench also combined for 16 points to cement the victory, which prevented Sioux Falls from winning their NBA D-League record 39th game of the season.

The 87ers play host to the Erie BayHawks in their next game on Tuesday, March 29th, at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Skyforce will play the Iowa Energy in their next home game on Tuesday, March 29th, at 7:30 p.m. CT.
