Cannata, Shaw Receive Call-Up to San Antonio

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced today that goaltender Joe Cannata and forward Brady Shaw have been recalled by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Cannata currently leads the ECHL with a .935 save-percentage, while ranking 3rd in the league with a 2.08 goals-against average. The 28 year-old boasts a record of 18-3-1-1 on the season, including a pair of shutouts and five shootout victories. The 6th round pick of the Vancouver Canucks has already appeared in two games with the Rampage this season, going 1-0 with a 2.23 GAA.

Shaw has notched 11 goals and 12 assists in 31 games with the Eagles this season. The 25 year-old rookie winger has also seen action in three AHL games with San Antonio, collecting one goal and two penalty minutes during that time.

The Eagles return to action when they begin a four-game homestand with a game against the Tulsa Oilers on Wednesday, February 28th at 7:05pm MT at the Budweiser Events Center.
