
Kansas City's Parks Named CCM/ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Mavric Parks of the Kansas City Mavericks is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for the week of Feb. 19-25.
Parks went 2-0-0 with one shutout, a 1.50 goals-against average and a save percentage of .941 in two appearances against Allen last week.
The 27-year-old made 29 saves in a 6-3 win on Friday and stopped all 22 shots he faced in a 1-0 victory on Saturday.
A native of Eganville, Ontario, Parks is 2-1-0 in three appearances with the Mavericks with a 2.02 goals-against average and a save percentage of .928. He also has seen action in 29 games with Birmingham of the Southern Professional Hockey League.
Parks has appeared in six career ECHL games with Adirondack and Kansas City with an overall record of 2-2-0 with one shutout, a 1.91 goals-against average and a save percentage of .924.
Prior to turning pro, Parks appeared in 80 career games at the University of Prince Edward Island and 170 career games in the Ontario Hockey League with Kitchener, Kingston, Barrie and Saginaw.
