
Atlanta Swaps Jacobs for Toledo's Vandane

DULUTH, Ga. - The Atlanta Gladiators have traded forward Colin Jacobs to the Toledo Walleye in exchange for defenseman Davis Vandane, the team announced Tuesday.
Vandane, 25, comes to Atlanta with 48 games played this year for the Toledo Walleye where the Yorkton, SK native has amassed 21 points (5-16-21) and a +21 plus/minus rating which ranks in the top 20 in the ECHL. Over the course of three seasons, The 6-foot-4, 201-pound defenseman has accumulated 66 points (18-48-66) in 161 ECHL games for Greenville, Alaska, Norfolk, Elmira and Toledo. Prior to the start of his professional career, Vandane notched 18 points (5-13-18) in 33 games for the University of Calgary after earning 79 points (15-64-79) in 189 games in the Western Hockey League for Spokane and Prince Albert from 2010-2013.
