Cannata Returns to Eagles After Stint in AHL

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced today that goaltender Joe Cannata has been reassigned to the Eagles by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Cannata currently leads the ECHL with a .933 save-percentage, while ranking 2nd in the league with a 2.12 goals-against average. The 28 year-old boasts a record of 18-4-1-1 on the season, including a pair of shutouts and five shootout victories. The 6th round pick of the Vancouver Canucks has also appeared in five AHL games with the Rampage this season, going 3-0-1 with a 1.84 GAA, a .920 save-percentage and one shutout.

The Eagles return to action when they take on the Utah Grizzlies on Friday, March 23rd at 7:05pm MT at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.
