Defenseman Doetzel Recalled by Stockton Heat

ALLEN, Texas - Defenseman Kayle Doetzel has been recalled by the Stockton Heat, announced by the Mavericks' AHL affiliate Friday.
This is the second AHL call-up for Doetzel, 22, who spent a month with the Heat through most of December and the start of January.
In 48 games with the Mavericks this season, the Rosetown, Saskatchewan native has lit the lamp three times and added nine helpers for 12 points on the year.
The Mavericks begin a two-game set with the Allen Americans tonight at 7:05 p.m. and will return home on Monday, April 2 for a rescheduled game against the Tulsa Oilers.
