PROMOTIONS/EVENTS

Round 2 Tickets: Tickets for Game 1 & 2 of the second round against the Brandon Wheat Kings are now on sale. The 'Canes will open their second round series this Friday and Saturday at the ENMAX Centre as Lethbridge holds home-ice advantage. Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.

Playoff Package:

For those fans who hold Playoff Ticket Packages will use "Playoff Home Game D" for Game 1 and "Playoff Home Game E" for Game 2.

Series Schedule:

The Hurricanes will face the Brandon Wheat Kings in the second round of the playoffs, the series schedule is as follows:

Game 1 - Friday, April 6th - at Lethbridge, 7:00pm

Game 2 - Saturday, April 7th - at Lethbridge, 7:00pm

Game 3 - Tuesday, April 10th - at Brandon, 6:00pm

Game 4 - Wednesday, April 11th - at Brandon, 6:00pm

*Game 5 - Friday, April 13st - at Lethbridge, 7:00pm

*Game 6 - Sunday, April 15th - at Brandon, TBD

*Game 7 - Tuesday, April 17th - at Lethbridge, 7:00pm

Tuesday, March 27th - 5-4 OT Win at Red Deer Rebels (Game 3): The Hurricanes earned a 5-4 overtime victory in Game 3 in Red Deer to go up 3-0 in the best-of-seven series. Calen Addison scored the overtime winner.

Wednesday, March 28th - 5-2 Loss at Red Deer Rebels (Game 4): Matthew Stanley and Tate Olson scored in the Hurricanes first loss of the playoffs as they fell 5-2 to the Rebels in Game 4 in Red Deer.

Saturday, March 31st - 6-4 Win vs. Red Deer Rebels (Game 5): The 'Canes booked their ticket to the second round of the WHL Playoffs with a 6-4 win in Game 5 on Saturday eliminating the Red Deer Rebels in five games. Taylor Ross and Brad Morrison each had two goals in the victory.

THIS WEEK'S GAME SCHEDULE (GAME 1) Friday, April 6th, 7:00pm vs. Brandon Wheat Kings: The Hurricanes begin their second round playoff match-up on Friday against the Brandon Wheat Kings at the ENMAX Centre. The 'Canes posted a 1-3-0-0 record against the Wheaties during the regular season. (GAME 2) Saturday, April 7th, 7:00pm vs. Brandon Wheat Kings: The 'Canes play the second game of their second round series with the Wheat Kings on Saturday at the ENMAX Centre. The series will shift to Brandon for Game's 3 & 4 early next week. The 'Canes outscored the Rebels 27-16 in the five games, an average of 5.40 to 3.20. Wow Mo: Hurricanes overage forward Brad Morrison had a series to emember in the first round against the Rebels. Morrison racked up an incredible 16 points (6g-10a) in the five game series, an average of 3.20 points per game. Morrison currently leads the entire WHL Playoffs in scoring. Round 2: The Hurricanes have advanced to the second round of the WHL Playoffs for the second straight season. It is the first time the 'Canes have reached Round 2 in back-to-back years since 2008 and 2009.

Prior to that, the last time the Hurricanes reached the second round in consecutive seasons was from 1989 to 1991 when they did it three straight seasons.
