
Canaries and Explorers Rained Out

Sioux Falls Canaries News Release
Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Canaries and Sioux City Explorers were rained out on Thursday night at Sioux Falls Stadium. The teams will make up the game on Friday, August 14, when they will play a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games beginning at 5:05 p.m.
Tickets for Thursday's game can be exchanged for tickets of equal or lesser value to any 2009 regular-season home game, based on availability. All exchanges must take place at the Canaries box office.
The Canaries will now head to Lincoln where they begin a three-game series with the first-place Lincoln Saltdogs on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. The Birds return to Sioux Falls Stadium on Tuesday, August 11, when they will begin a three-game series with the St. Paul Saints. Tuesday's game will be a "Reading Program Day" at the ballpark.
