Grand Prairie AirHogs News Release

Grand Prairie, TX. Pelicans' starter Adam Brandenburg threw 100 pitches over seven innings and limited the AirHogs line-up to only four hits in the final game of the series for a score of 4-1 at QuikTrip Park.

A Javier Brito homerun in the bottom of the 2nd would be the only run on the board the ‘Hogs could manage. Cesar Nicolas continued his hitting tear, going 2-for-4 and Chad Gabriel reached on a single through the left side in the 2nd inning - accounting for the only four hits of the night.

Steve MacFarland, in only his second appearance of the year, spent his four innings posting a line of four runs on four hits, striking out three while walking four. Five AirHogs pitchers combined to finish the game, giving up only four hits and one run.

Ulysses Roque and Hunter Davis teamed up to finish the game flawlessly following the longest start of the season for Brandenburg.

The AirHogs return to QuikTrip Park next Friday night to face-off against the Shreveport-Bossier Captains. The game will start at 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m. For tickets, call 972.504.9383 or visit www.airhogsbaseball.com.
