Cameron Named CHL Player of the Month for December

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (January 2)- The Texas Brahmas along with the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today forward Jordan Cameron is the Sher-Wood CHL Player of the Month of December.

In 13 games, Cameron registered 19 points (9 G, 10 A), and currently sits with 28 points for the season. Cameron led the Brahmas to a 7-4-2 record in December, and had the game tying and game winning goals against Oklahoma City on December 27. The Drayton Valley, ALTA native ended the month on a high note, recording 4 points (1 G, 3 A) in a 5-2 victory over Southeast divisional opponents Corpus Christi on December 31.

"This is an honor for Jordan, he has been playing very well, working hard and is a large factor to our success," said Brahmas Head Coach Dan Wildfong. "It is great to see him get the recognition."

Last season, Cameron led the Brahmas in scoring in the regular season with 64 points (30 G, 34 A) in 57 games. For the accomplishment, Cameron will receive a gift courtesy of the CHL and Sher-Wood.
