Thunder Blanked by Eagles

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder saw their three-game winning streak come to and end, falling 4-0 to the Colorado Eagles on Friday night at the Kansas Coliseum.

Eagles' forward Konrad Reeder scored a goal and two assists, while veteran Greg Pankewicz picked up three assists.

Colorado opened the scoring on a goal from Adam Hogg at 7:51 in the first period. Reeder connected at 13:13 to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead.

Steve Haddon scored on a turnover at 13:08 in the second, making it 3-0. Ed McGrane closed out the scoring for the night with Colorado's lone power play goal at 3:46 in the third.

Tim Boron suffered the loss, saving 34 of 38 shots. Andrew Penner earned the win, saving all 32 of Wichita's shots.

The game marked the fourth time this season that the Thunder has been shutout.
