Calgary Hitmen Post 3-1 Home Ice Win Over Regina

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen pumped 50 shots on goal in a 3-1 win over the Regina Pats Friday night at the Pengrowth Saddledome.

Joel Broda broke a 1-1 tie with 2:57 left in regulation while Tyler Fiddler added an insurance marker.

Del Cowan also scored for the Hitmen who outshot the Pats 50-22.

Ian Schultz had a pair of assists for Calgary who has now picked up at least a single point in nine straight games going 7-0-1-1 in that span.

At a Western Hockey League leading record of 26-8-1-1 the Hitmen will play their final game before the Christmas Break tonight (Saturday) in Medicine Hat against the Tigers.

Calgary leads the Tigers by six points for first in the Central Division.
