Buzz Graduates Three More Players Overseas

January 24, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maywood Buzz News Release

Orange County, CA. The ABA Orange County Buzz excitedly announced the opportunity of three of its players making signings overseas. Although the Buzz's record doesn't reflect the talent that the team has, Eric "Spinmaster" Holmes (of And1 Tour fame), John Janssen (a key component to the Buzz's early start), and Adam Parada have joined former teammates Ronell Mingo and Deon "BO" Williams overseas to play ball. Holmes signed to a team in Lebanon, Janssen to a team in Swedan, Parada to a team in Jordan.

GM Burrel Lee III stated, "We are proud of these guys getting the opportunity to play overseason. They are talented players and will bring their teams to the next level. Although it does throw off the continuity of this team when players leave, this team has more than enough talent to pick up the slack. We wish them well. One of the things the ABA does is to provide exposure to NBA and international scouts for its players and as you have seen, many ABA players are getting lucrative contracts now."

Attention Buzz Fans: Stay tuned as the Buzz will announce shortly a rematch against Tim Hardaway's Florida Pit Bulls after the All-Star Break. As you all remember, the game went into overtime with a thrilling win for the Pit Bulls and a heartbreak for the Buzz.
