ABA Triple Header Event in Maywood a Success

Maywood, CA. This weekend, six of the ABA's west coast teams met in a single location for match-up of teams competing for a spot in the ABA Mini-Playoffs set for March 13-15th to determine a spot in the ABA Championship playoffs the following weekend. A large and noisy crowd had an opportunity to see six exciting games between the Los Angeles Push, Los Angeles Slam, Riverside Rage, Inland Empire 5LINX, the Maywood Buzz and the San Francisco Rumble - and they got their money's worth. Maywood has already received a bye to play in the ABA Playoffs and were filling in for the Beijing Aoshen Olympian who were playing a series of games in Texas. The scores of the games were as follows:

"With the Push's two wins, it really shows them as a contender for the Mini-Playoffs," stated Burrel Lee III, Tournament host." "And the other teams certainly were in contention to win their games also. We have a strong division - and when Beijing comes back, the Mini-Tournament should be a wide open event."
