Buzz Fall Minutes Short of 2009 ABA Championship

Maywood, CA - It has been just about 4 days since the Kentucky Bisons knocked off the Maywood Buzz 127-120 in the 2009 ABA Championship Game in Nashville, TN. The Buzz who was lead by 36yr old Isaac Burton who finished tried to put hte Buzz on his back with a whopping 36pts in the final game. "This was a tough lost that we suffered and it will sit with us for a whiel, but we cant soak in it for long as it is time to get ready for the spring and summer seasons and weigh our options for next season" said Buzz GM and Head Coach Burrel Lee III.

"This season was a great run for us we finished a total of 25-5 this year, went to the ABA Finals and turned some heads" added Lee.

Wesley Stokes was named Western Division Co-MVP, 1st Team All West, Rookie Of the Year. Also 2nd team all ABA and Rookie of the Year.

Issac Burton was named Western Division Co-MVP, 1st Team All West, Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Also 2nd Team All ABA

Kenny Wright was name 2nd team All West, Honorable Mention All ABA

Burrel Lee was named ABA Western Conference Coach of the Year, West Division Coach of the Year and The Maywood Buzz was named the West Division Team of the Year.
