Four Bagger: The Tulsa Oilers have their busiest week of the season so far with four games, including their first set of three games in three days. The Oilers visit the Mississippi RiverKings Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. then host the RiverKings in a return match up Friday at 7:35 p.m. at the BOK Center. Saturday, the Oilers will travel to take on the Texas Brahmas in a 7:05 p.m. face-off and Sunday return home to host the Wichita Thunder in a family day matinee at 4 p.m. All games can be heard via www.tulsaoilers.com.
Eagle Split: The Oilers dropped a 7-3 decision in Colorado last Tuesday and rallied for a 6-5 win on Friday night.
Five Star: Right winger Michel Beausoleil had a five point night Friday with two goals and three assists. He now leads the Oilers in scoring with four goals and 10 assists for 14 points. Beausoleil also has points in seven straight games.
Speaking Of: Streaks...Brendon Hodge has points in three straight games and eight of the Oilers nine games this season. He has five goals and eight assists for 13 points. Jeff Christian has points in four straight games and six of the seven games he's played this year. Christian has three goals and seven assists for 10 points.
Heating Up: Left wing Jake Riddle has caught fire with five goals and one assist in the last three games.
Can It: Fans who bring two canned food items for the Whataburger food drive two either home game this weekend will receive a coupon good for a FREE Whataburger.
Family Day: American Airlines is presenting family day with the Oilers for Sunday's 4 p.m. matinee with Wichita. Specials include a four pack of tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for just $59. There will also be a variety of family activities available prior to the game on American Airlines Family Day.
