Arizona Sundogs News Release

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. -The Arizona Sundogs unveiled their 2008 championship rings on Monday, six months after capturing their first Central Hockey League Ray Miron President's Cup Championship. Rings were presented to players, coaches and members of the Arizona Sundogs organization.

"Presenting the rings to players and staff is certainly something we have been looking forward to," said Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro. "The presentation of the rings almost serves as the final chapter of last season and now allows us to focus solely on this season and defending our title."

The ring, made of white gold, features the Sundogs' primary 'S' logo with a diamond representing each starburst. Fourteen larger diamonds to the left and right surround the 'S' logo at the top of the ring. One side of the ring depicts the player's or staff member's name, the CHL logo and a broom paired with the Sundogs' 4-0 CHL Finals series record. The other side displays the Arizona Sundogs word mark logo, an image of the Ray Miron President's Cup, the team motto, 'Character is Everything' and the Sundogs 12-5 playoff record.
