
Bush lands on DL, Aguilar promoted

Fort Wayne, IN - Fort Wayne Wizards shortstop Matt Bush was placed on the disabled list, retroactive to Tuesday, July 11 and infielder Abraham Aguilar was promoted from the Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League.
Bush, who joined the Wizards on June 22, is hitting .258 after 19 games with three doubles, four runs batted in and eight runs scored.
Aguilar was sent to Eugene on July 7 and returns to Fort Wayne after appearing in 43 games to start the season with the Wizards. He is hitting .195 with 17 runs scored, four doubles and seven runs batted in for Fort Wayne. In one game with the Emeralds, he was 1-for-4 with a run batted in.
Aguilar joins the Wizards in Lansing as Fort Wayne concludes a three-game series tonight against the Lugnuts (Toronto Blue Jays affiliate) at 7:05 p.m.
The Wizards open a four-game homestand at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday against the Burlington Bees (Kansas City Royals affiliate).
The homestand will feature a post-game fireworks show and an appearance by Myron Noodleman on Saturday, the sixth annual post-game Christian Concert featuring Building 429 on Sunday, a Dollar Night ($1.00 hot dogs, soft drinks and beer) on Monday and a business person special at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
