South Bend Silver Hawks News Release
South Bend - Tonight's game between the South Bend Silver Hawks and Dayton Dragons has been postponed due to inclement weather. This is the fifth rainout at the Cove in 2006. The last rainout was on June 18.
The teams will play a doubleheader August 29 at Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6PM.
The Silver Hawks are tied for first place in the second half of the Midwest League season with a 16-5 record, six games in front of the Dayton Dragons. The Hawks will head out for a four game road trip to face the Peoria Chiefs at John O'Brien Stadium Saturday to Tuesday, before returning home to play the Kane County Cougars in a four game series, July 20 through July 23.
