Busenburg recalled from South Carolina

HERSHEY - The 2006 Calder Cup Champion HERSHEY BEARS announced today that defenseman Marc Busenburg has been recalled from South Carolina (ECHL) The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

Busenburg previously played for HERSHEY from 2002-2004, skating in 108 games during that time. He scored five goals and assisted on six others during 2002-03. While with South Carolina this season, Busenburg scored three goals and added three assists while playing in 12 games. He also attended BEARS training camp this past September. Busenburg is expected to be available to play Saturday when the BEARS return home to face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

The BEARS will return to GIANT Center this Saturday, November 18 against Bridgeport at 7:00 p.m. for Capital Blue Cross night. The first 3,500 fans through the gates will receive a free BEARS car magnet, thanks to Capital Blue Cross.
