
San Jose assigns defenseman Josh Gorges to Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Josh Gorges to the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
Originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on Sept. 20, 2002, Gorges has appeared in 13 games with San Jose this season, posting 12 penalty minutes.
