Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI--Milwaukee Admirals Owner/CEO Harris Turer announced today that the team will discount all upper bowl tickets to just $2 for the team's game on Sunday, December 17th versus the Grand Rapids Griffins and that all the proceeds from those tickets would then be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. In addition, $2 from all regularly priced lower bowl tickets will be also be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs.
"The Boys and Girls Clubs are an integral part of our community and this is just a small token of appreciation for all they do for our kids," said Turer. "We look at this as a win-win situation. We are able to help out a tremendous organization and in the process create an atmosphere at the Bradley Center that will propel our team into the heart of the schedule."
This is the second season that the Admirals have discounted the 400-level tickets and then donated the proceeds to charity. Last year a sellout crowd of more than 17,000 helped the team raise money for Children's Hospital.
The game, which will begin at 5:00 pm, is also WE Energies Calendar Day where the first 10,000 people will receive a 2007 Admirals Calendar, courtesy of WE Energies. In addition, the game will feature the US Cellular Teddy Bear Toss, where fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear to the game and then throw it on the ice when the Admirals score their first goal. The bears will be collected and donated to Children's Hospital.
For tickets on December 17th, or any Admirals game, fans can call Ticketmaster at (414) 276-4545 or log on to www.ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more people can call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
