Hershey Bears News Release

(HERSHEY, PA) - Beginning Saturday, November 18 and continuing through every Bears home game until Saturday, December 23, fans will have the opportunity to help bring holiday wishes to ailing children. Fans can purchase "BEAR-Able Bag" icons in $1, $5, or $10 increments, and all proceeds will be donated to CRF. These icons will then be hung around the Coco's Kids Club table. For $2, individuals can also purchase wristbands that have "Bears Believe" imprinted on them.

The CRF will have two locations on the main concourse where the icons and wristbands will be available for purchase, with one near sections 107/108 and the other at the Coco's Kids Club table outside section 124. Every fan that purchases a "BEAR-Able Bags" icon will receive a coupon good for $2 off an upcoming Bears home game ticket. For example, receive one $2 off coupon for the purchase of a $1 icon, receive two $2 off coupons for the purchase of a $5 icon, and receive four $2 off coupons for the purchase of a $10 icon. See coupon for Black Out restrictions.

Throughout 2006 the "BEAR-Able Bags" will be delivered to more than 15,000 pediatric oncology patients through 178 children's hospitals and treatment centers in the United States. "This is made possible through the generosity of the thousands of individuals, businesses, schools and churches who support us," said Greg Anderson, Founder and CEO of Cancer Recovery Foundation. He also states, "We are so thankful for the Hershey Bears partnership. It's the fans who are the true heroes making this program's unprecedented growth possible."
