Senators release Cacciola

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League today announced that they have released goalie David Cacciola from his professional tryout agreement.

Cacciola, a native of Burlington, Massachusetts, did not see any game action, but served as the Senators' back-up goaltender in two games.

The 23-year-old posted a 18-5-4 (W-L-T) record in 28 games played with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs in 2005-06. He finished the season with a .926 save percentage and 2.54 goals-against-average while also collecting two shutouts.

Binghamton travels to Norfolk for back-to-back games against the Admirals on Friday and Saturday. The Senators then return home to play Hershey on Thanksgiving Day at 6:05 p.m.

Tickets are currently on sale for all regular season home games. Tickets cost $16 for side seating and $15 for end seating.
