May 3, 2007 - International League (IL1)
Ottawa Lynx News Release

Gary Burnham played the role of hero, driving in the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning to spark the Lynx to a 3-2 win over Louisville.

The win bumps the Lynx to 11-11 while the Bats fall to 13-13.

Player Of The Game: Burnham's hit was the biggest, but Brennan King was a monster against Louisville, going 3-for-4 with a run scored.

Game Recap: Lynx starter Brian Mazone and Bats pitcher Bobby Livingston mowed through the first three innings, matching each other with zeros across the board. Louisville opened the scoring in the top of the 4th with a single run and another run in the top of the 5th before the Lynx bats woke up. Ottawa came back with two runs in the bottom of the 5th off a couple of fielder's choices. Chris Coste brought home Brennan King and Chris Roberson brought home Dusty Wathan for his team-leading 17th run batted in. Then both teams were held off the board for the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th innings. The Lynx got the win in the bottom of the 11th when Jason Jaramillo reached on an error, was sacrificed over to 2nd base by Lou Collier and then scored on Gary Burnham's RBI single, ending the Lynx three-game losing streak.

Next Game: The Lynx and Bats wrap their series up Friday night at Lynx Stadium. Game time is 6:05 pm..
