First Place Tribe Returns To Victory Field On Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians begin a 10-game homestand on Saturday when Louisville comes to Victory Field for a 7 p.m. contest. The stretch continues through May 14 as the Tribe faces the Bats (May 5-6), Syracuse Chiefs (May 7-10) and Ottawa Lynx (May 11-14).

Sat., May 5 -- Louisville @ 7:00 p.m.

One America 500 Festival Mini Marathon Night -- Running legends Frank Shorter and Bill Rodgers will be on hand to meet and greet fans.

Sun., May 6 -- Louisville @ 2:00 p.m.

Travel Mug Giveaway -- It's a Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive an Indians Travel Mug courtesy of Crystal Flash. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.

Knot Hole Run -- Members of the WISH-TV/Indians Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.

Cub Scout Graduation -- Over 700 Cub Scouts will receive a circuit of fun patch during a special pre-game ceremony on the field. To purchase a scout package, contact the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-3545 ext. 258 or tickets@IndyIndians.com.

Mon., May 7 -- Syracuse @ 7:00 p.m.

Monday Dollar Menu -- Hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack and potato chips will be available for just $1 each.

Tues., May 8 -- Syracuse @ 7:00 p.m.

The Tribe faces the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Wed., May 9 -- Syracuse @ 2:00 p.m.

Business Day Game -- Bring your co-workers out to Victory Field for the special 2 p.m. contest which is presented by Fast Signs.

Thurs., May 10 -- Syracuse @ 11:00 a.m.

Baseball in Education Day (picture above)-- Students can learn at the ballpark by attending the second of three Baseball in Education Days at Victory Field. BIE participants will learn about the benefits of daily exercise and making wise nutrition choices during the National Institute for Fitness and Sport's pre-game program from 10-10:30 a.m. The special 11 a.m. start is presented by IUPUI and Aquafina.

Fri., May 11 -- Ottawa @ 7:00 p.m.

Friday Night Fireworks -- Fans will be treated to the first post-game fireworks spectacular of 2007 courtesy of Coors Light.

April Player of the Month -- Bryan Bullington will be honored as the Tribe's April Player of the Month at approximately 6:45 p.m. The former Ball State star and No. 1 overall selection, who went 4-0 with a 1.17 ERA in five starts during the season's first month, will receive a watch courtesy of Windsor Jewelers.

Girl Scout Campout -- Over 600 Girl Scouts will be camping out on the playing surface after the game. To purchase a scout package, contact the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-3545 ext. 258 or tickets@IndyIndians.com.

Sat., May 12 -- Ottawa @ 7:00 p.m.

Reggy Appearance -- Reggy, "The Purple Party Dude," will be on hand to entertain fans throughout the night. The Raymond Entertainment Group mascot will pose for photos and sign autographs during the game.

Sun., May 13 -- Ottawa @ 2:00 p.m.

Drawstring Backpack Giveaway -- It's a Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive an Indians Drawstring Backpack. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.

Mother's Day Flowers -- The first 500 mothers will receive a flower courtesy of United Laser Clinics. Fans will also have an opportunity to win a treatment package ($2,000 value) courtesy of United Laser Clinics.

Knot Hole Run -- Members of the WISH-TV/Indians Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.
