Tonight's Matchup: Tonight the San Francisco Bulls (2-3-1-0) wrap up their three-game series against the Colorado Eagles (4-2-0-0) at Budweiser Events Center. After dropping the first two games, the Bulls look to regroup and end the series on a high note. This is the third of nine meetings between these two squads this season.
Last night, San Francisco let the game get away early, and a pair of late goals wasn't enough to overcome the deficit, losing to Colorado 6-2. The Eagles jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead before the Bulls got on the scoreboard. Early in the third period, Dale Mitchell found the back of the net on an assist from Mark Lee. Almost 10 minutes later they paired up again for another score, this time with Lee accounting for the goal on a helper from Mitchell. Steven Tarasuk also registered an assist on the play. Colorado scored two more goals of their own in the final period, however, putting the game out of reach.
In the early going Lee and Mitchell have represented the majority of the Bulls offense, and are quickly becoming a dynamic duo. They are one and two on the team in goals, assists, and points, and are both in the top three in shots. In addition, they each extended their point streaks to four games with two points apiece last night.
Lee and Mitchell are going to need a little more help tonight to keep up with Colorado, who has scored 10 goals through the first two games of the series. Last night it was Kyle Ostrow and Ray Sawada who led the way for the Eagles, each contributing three-point nights.
San Francisco is currently tied with the Idaho Steelheads for fifth place in the Western Conference with five points. Colorado is tied with the Alaska Aces and Ontario Reign atop the Western Conference with eight points.

Following tonight's game the Bulls will finally be heading back to California for the final game of their eight-game road trip. Next Wednesday, November 6, they will be taking on the Ontario Reign. The game starts at 7:00 pm.
