ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Saturday the following fines and suspensions.

Toledo's Clark fined, suspended

Toledo's Emerson Clark has been suspended indefinitely pending a hearing and has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #50, Toledo at Kalamazoo, on Nov. 1.

Clark is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions as he exited the playing surface.

Clark will miss Toledo's games against Kalamazoo tonight (Nov. 2) and at Evansville tomorrow (Nov. 3) and further discipline will be announced next week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Greenville's Berkstresser fined, suspended

Greenville's Sean Berkstresser has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #48, Greenville at Elmira, on Nov. 1.

Berkstresser is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline. He will miss Greenville's game at Wheeling tonight (Nov. 1) and any further discipline will be announced next week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
