
Game Preview: Stingrays Turn Back the Clock Tonight vs. Gladiators

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays host the Gwinnett Gladiators tonight on Turn Back the Clock Night at 7:05 at the North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the second of 15 meetings between the two teams this season. Listen to all the action LIVE at StingraysHockey.com, on AmericaOne and inside the Coliseum at 87.8 FM .
The Stingrays turn back the clock on ticket prices to 1993! Tickets are $10, $8 and $6 at the Coliseum Box Office! Members of the 501st Legion Carolina Garrison and all your favorite characters from Star Wars will be at the game including R2D2!
Note of the Night:
The Stingrays pushed their season-opening unbeaten streak to six games (5-0-0-1) and winning streak to five contests last night with a 5-3 victory over the Gladiators. Forward Scott Campbell extended his point streak to six games (six goals, three assists) and goal streak to five games (six goals) with a goal and an assist against Gwinnett.
Comeback Kids:
The Stingrays erased 2-0 and 3-2 Gladiators leads last night for the comeback victory. Defenseman Steve Spinell recorded his first professional goal and Campbell (one goal, one assist), forward Chad Painchaud (two assists) and defenseman Kevin Quick (two assists) each had two-point games.
The Stingrays wrap up a three-game weekend against the Gladiators tomorrow, Sunday, November 3 at 2:05 p.m. at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia and return to the North Charleston Coliseum on Friday, November 8 against the Evansville IceMen at 7:05 p.m. Pick up a Friday Family Four Pack at the Coliseum Box Office - four tickets, four hotdogs, four sodas and large popcorn for $55!
