Green Bay, WI- Now 57 former Green Bay Bullfrogs have played or are currently active on a professional baseball roster. The updated list also includes three who have seen time in the major leagues, Josh Prince, Daniel Robertson, and Scott Schebler.
Daniel Robertson (LA Angels) has joined Mike Trout in the Angels' outfield in 2015. A graduate of Oregon State, Robertson played with Green Bay in 2007. Originally a 33rd Rd. pick of the Padres, Robertson has compiled 224 at-bats in the major leagues in two seasons.
Scott Schebler (Dodgers) has made headlines in the Pacific Coast League as a starter for the Oklahoma City Dodgers, and made his major league debut on June 5th going 1-for-3 against the St. Louis Cardinals.
This year's 2015 class contributed seven new players to the professional ranks including Matt Beaty (Los Angeles Dodgers-14th Rd.), Ryan Howell (Oakland Athletics- 15th Rd.), and Dean Long (Texas Rangers-38th Rd.).
Matt Beaty (Dodgers) has managed a triumphant start to his tenure in the minor leagues. After spending just six games in the Pioneer League with the Ogden Raptors, he was called up to the Great Lakes Loons (Full A-Midwest League) where he is currently hitting .282 (22-for-78) with a .386 on-base percentage.
A 2013 Bullfrog, Nick Torres (Padres), was just called up to the Lake Elsinore Storm (High A- California League) after spending most of 2015 as one of the Midwest League's most difficult outs.

Mitch Haniger (Diamondbacks) has been crushing the ball in the California League (High-A) currently with a .314 AVG (76-for-242) that includes time he also spent in the Southern League with the Mobile BayBears.
Phil Ervin (Reds), who finished with 6HR/34 RBI for the 2011 Bullfrogs, is leading the Dayton Tortugas (Florida State League) with 11HR/48RBI, as one of the Reds' most projectable power-hitting prospects.
Adam Cimber (Padres), also from the 2011 Bullfrogs playoff team, has pitched between AA-AAA this season as a relief pitcher in the Padres organization.
Beyond that, a 2008 Green bay standout, Rocky Gale (Padres), is in AAA with the El Paso Chihuahuas. Gale is in his sixth professional season all with the Padres system. In 2015 he is hitting a career best .323 with 1HR/29RBI.
