Green Bay, Wis. - The Green Bay Bullfrogs will look for their fifth consecutive victory on Saturday following last night's thrilling come from behind victory.

Three runs in both the top of the fifth and sixth innings put the Battle Creek Bombers ahead 7-2 going into the bottom of the sixth inning at Joannes Stadium, but Green Bay tied the game up quickly. The Bullfrogs scored a pair of unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth and added three more in the seventh.

Robb Paller and Ryan Donovan both scored on wild pitches, and Paul Jacobson scored on an error by catcher Niko Pacheco after a wild pitch advanced him at third.

The Bombers threatened to grab the lead back in the top of the eighth with two outs and runners at first and third. Brennon Lund roped a line drive to rightfield, but Paller tracked it down to make a nice running catch to keep the game tied at 7.

A hit-by-pitch and a walk put runners at first and second in the bottom of the eighth with the Northwoods League RBI leader Ryan Donovan at the plate. On the first pitch of the at bat, Donovan hit a single past second baseman Lin Li, and Logan Taylor came around to score to give the Bullfrogs an 8-7 lead.

Jake Stolley retired all five batters he faced, as he earned his first win of the season for Green Bay.

The Bullfrogs improved to 18-12, tied for second with the Madison Mallards and just one game behind the Kenosha Kingfish in the Northwoods League South Division.

Green Bay will play Battle Creek on the road tonight at 7:05 to begin a two-game series at C.O. Brown Stadium.

The Bullfrogs will start Ryan Radue, and Jordan Knutson is going to pitch for the Bombers.

Radue comes into tonight's game with a 2-0 record and a 2.11 earned run average, coming off a solid start against Lakeshore. He allowed just two hits and no earned runs in 5 1/3 innings pitched with seven strikeouts in his last start.

The lefthander Knutson is making just his second start this season. He picked up the loss on June 20, as he threw four innings, gave up seven hits and five runs in a 7-1 loss to La Crosse.

Tonight begins a six-game road trip for Green Bay, and the Bullfrogs will return to Joannes Stadium on July 3 for a game against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at 7:05 p.m.

Single game tickets are on sale now. Visit www.greenbaybullfrogs.com to purchase tickets. The Bullfrogs' business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
