Bulldogs wrap up road trip and head to Montreal this week

The Hamilton Bulldogs (American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) are set to play two games against the Syracuse Crunch (AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets) this week. The Bulldogs will wrap-up their nine-game road trip on Friday, March 16th at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter in Syracuse at 7:30 p.m. The 'Dogs will then head to the Bell Centre in Montreal to take on the Crunch at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18th for an off-site home game in the arena of their parent club, the Montreal Canadiens.

Hamilton posted a 1-1-1-0 record in three games last week. The Bulldogs lost 2-1 in overtime against the Marlies on Sunday afternoon, a day after they shutout the same Toronto team 1-0 on Saturday night at Ricoh Coliseum. On Friday, the Dogs' lost 3-2 to the Admirals at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

With 79 points in 65 games and a record of 36-22-3-4 this season, the Hamilton Bulldogs are currently in second place in the North Division standings, four points behind the division leading Manitoba Moose (83 points in 64 games) and four points ahead of the third place Rochester Americans (75 points in 62 games).
