Crunch Ask Fans to Wear Orange in Protest of NCAA on March 17

Syracuse, NY (March 12, 2007) - The Syracuse Crunch are encouraging their fans to put aside the traditional green this St. Patrick's Day and wear orange to their contest against the Houston Aeros on Saturday, March 17 in protest of the NCAA's decision to leave the Syracuse Orange men's basketball team out of the NCAA Tournament.

To show their support of the Syracuse University Basketball program the Crunch will wear a special orange shamrock on their uniforms.

The Crunch are in action on Tuesday, March 13 as they travel to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for a 7:05 p.m. match-up against the Penguins. The club returns home to host the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the crunch office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter box office located on the state street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
