WOLVES HEADLINERS

--- NIKO DIMITRAKOS: Registered three goals and five points in three games during his Wolves debut last week after being acquired on loan from the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers on March 1 ... Collected 18 goals and 33 points in 48 AHL tilts this season, 45 of which were with the Philadelphia Phantoms ... Posted six penalty minutes in five contests with the Flyers this year

--- BRETT STERLING: Recorded goals in each of his last two games to bring his AHL-leading total to 46 markers, tied for the sixth-highest single-season output in franchise history ... Leads AHL rookies and ranks third overall with 79 points in 63 games this year ... Paces the league with 20 power-play markers

--- DARREN HAYDAR: Tallied his AHL-leading 96th point of the season with an assist on Sunday, the most by a Wolves player in seven years and the eighth-highest total in franchise history ... Leads the league with a career-best 64 assists, the fourth-best total in the club's 13-year existence ... Posted at least one point in 52 of his 59 tilts this year

--- CORY LAROSE: Posted a point in five straight games, racking up three goals and three assists during that span ... Shares third in the AHL with a career-high 51 assists and ranks sixth with a career-most 69 points in 49 tilts

--- COLIN STUART: Collected 10 goals in his last 21 outings, which includes setting a career-high with his 15th marker of the season in Sunday's win ... Registered 24 points in 53 matchups this season, three shy of matching the career-best 27 points he tallied in 78 games with Chicago last year

The Wolves (83 points) begin the week with a three-point lead over the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights (80 points) for first place in the West Division. Chicago and Omaha face off two more times during the regular season, which includes a matchup at the Omaha Civic Auditorium on Friday. The Wolves lead the season series with a 5-3-0-0 record against the Knights.

WOLF TRACKS

--- Chicago rounds out its franchise-high, eight-game home stand against Peoria on Wednesday; the Wolves have notched a 3-4-0-0 record during the swing so far and a 14-14-1-3 mark overall at the Allstate Arena this season.

--- The Wolves and Rivermen did not convert on any power-play opportunities in Sunday's contest, marking just the fourth time in 66 games this season Chicago and its opponent did not register a man-advantage marker.

--- Chicago's AHL-best 96 power-play tallies are just two away from matching a franchise record.

--- Blueliners ANDY DELMORE (15), NATHAN OYSTRICK (12) and MARK POPOVIC (12) have combined for 39 goals this season; DELMORE's 15 markers lead AHL defensemen while OYSTRICK and POPOVIC share third.

--- Defenseman BRIAN SIPOTZ leads the AHL with a +34 plus/minus rating; ex-Wolves forward NIKLAS ANDERSSON set a franchise record with a +33 plus/minus rating during the 2000-01 season.

--- The Wolves have netted a league-best 279 goals this year, 26 more than the next closest team (Norfolk, 253) and just 22 shy of equaling the franchise-record 301 markers the Turner Cup Championship squad recorded.

LUCK OF THE IRISH

The Wolves will continue to sport their special St. Patrick's Day jerseys, sponsored by Jewel-Osco, at the Allstate Arena on Wed., March 14 and Sat., March 17. Fans can purchase raffle tickets and bid on the green jerseys worn by their favorite Wolves players at the games. The jerseys of four players will be available in the raffle. WOLVES REWIND (2-1-0-0)

Sun., March 11 (at) Chicago 4, Peoria 2
--- Four different players tickled the twine as Chicago built a 3-0 second-period lead and hung on for a 4-2 victory over the Peoria Rivermen at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards JOEY CRABB, NIKO DIMITRAKOS, BRETT STERLING and COLIN STUART all recorded goals
--- Goaltender FRED BRATHWAITE racked up 31 saves on 33 shots

Sat., March 10 Milwaukee 6, (at) Chicago 4
--- The Wolves jumped out to a first-period 3-0 lead but allowed five straight goals en route to losing, 6-4, to the Milwaukee Admirals at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards NIKO DIMITRAKOS (2G), CORY LAROSE (2A) and JASON KROG (2A) each tallied two points
--- Netminder MICHAEL GARNETT accrued 25 saves

Wed., March 7 (at) Chicago 4, Houston 1
--- Chicago tallied three times in a span of 2:59 late in the first period and never looked back, posting a 4-1 victory over the Houston Aeros at the Allstate Arena
--- Four different Wolves found the back of the net, including JORDAN LaVALLEE, who added an assist
--- Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT registered 35 saves on 36 shots
