HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The Hamilton Bulldogs used a 3rd period comeback Friday night in Oshawa to erase a 4-1 deficit as they went on to a 6-5 win over the Generals.

Isaac Nurse (6) took advantage of perfect pass at 16:42 to make it 1-0 Bulldogs, but not much time to celebrate the lead as the Generals tied it up 45-seconds later as the 1st period ended 1-1.

Oshawa took a 2-1 lead at 5:45 of the 2nd period and then the Bulldogs got into some penalty trouble. The Generals took a 3-1 lead at 7:50 on a 5-on-3 power-play and then went ahead 4-1 at 11:12. The Bulldogs got back on track as Benjamin Gleason (2) scored on the power-play at 13:25 to cut the deficit to 4-2. The power-play struck again at 14:39 and it was Gleason (3) again cutting the Generals lead to 4-3.

It was all Bulldogs in the 3rd period. Will Bitten (6) won a face-off and snapped one home to tie the game 4-4 at the 10-minute mark, Marina Studenic (7) scored at 14:23 to make it 5-4 Black and Gold and then Benjamin Gleason (4) completed his power-play hat-trick at 15:36 to make it 6-4. The Generals got one back with 5-seconds left, but it was too little too late.

3 Stars:

1) Benjamin Gleason (HAM)

2) Renars Krastenbergs (OSH)

3) Will Bitten (HAM)

It's right back at it Saturday night as the Bulldogs return home to host the Ottawa 67's at FirstOntario Centre at 7 pm.
