Bulldogs Release Two Players From Training Camp

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today that the team has released forwards Sam Bloom and Brett Robinson from training camp. The two players had been on tryouts with the Bulldogs.

Bloom and Robinson were with the 'Dogs for the beginning of training camp in Edinburgh, Scotland where the club captured the Gardiner Cup Championship after defeating the Toronto Marlies in the finals of the four-team tournament that also featured the Belfast Giants and Edinburgh Capitals from the UK Elite League. Both players are under contract to the Cincinnati Cyclones for the upcoming season.

The Bulldogs finish their pre-season tonight when they face the Toronto Marlies at General Motors Centre at 7:00 p.m. Fans can listen to every 'Dogs game on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, TALK 820.
