Worcester Sharks Release Five Players From Training Camp

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced that five players have been released from the training camp roster as the Sharks prepare for the teams' fourth season of hockey in Worcester.

The group consists of forwards Mathieu Curadeau and Bill Louppe; defenseman Tom Morrow along with goaltenders Adam Russo and Ryan Nie.

The Sharks roster is now comprised of 22 players; two goaltenders, seven defensemen, and 13 forwards. The Sharks opening night roster should be finalized on Thursday, October 1st.

The Worcester Sharks travel to Glens Falls, NY on Saturday to battle the Adirondack Phantoms to kickoff the 2009-10 regular season schedule.
