
Bulldogs End Pre-Season With 3-0 Win

Oshawa, Ontario - The Hamilton Bulldogs ended their pre-season with a 3-0 win over the Toronto Marlies. The Bulldogs earned their third shutout in four games as they finish the pre-season undefeated having won all four of their games.
Hamilton opened the game's scoring at 4:03 of the middle stanza. David Desharnais sent a puck to P.K. Subban, who was positioned in front of the net. Subban released a shot that beat Toronto starting goaltender James Reimer through the legs.
Andrew Engelage replaced James Reimer midway through the second period.
The Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead at 12:01 of the final frame. Ryan Russell fed a pass to Mathieu Darche, who used a forehand-to-backhand move on Engelage before slipping the puck between the pads of the netminder. Mike Glumac added an empty-net marker at 18:01 to seal the victory for the 'Dogs.
The Bulldogs begin their 14th season in the AHL on Sunday, October 4th at 4:00 p.m. when they face the Toronto Marlies at Ricoh COliseum.
