The Hamilton Bulldogs concluded their four-game road trip on Saturday by defeating the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks 6-4 in Cincinnati. The game marked a franchise record setting ninth consecutive win on the road and a season best seventh win in a row overall. The Bulldogs record currently stands at 23 wins, 6 losses, 1 tie and 2 overtime losses. Hamilton has 49 points on the season and sit first overall in the AHL.
The Bulldogs will look to stay at the top of the AHL standings as they play three home games before their Christmas break. The Bulldogs' next home game on Wed., Dec. 18 will see former Bulldogs' captain Alain Nasreddine and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers visit Copps Coliseum. Then on Fri., Dec. 20 Hamilton will host former Bulldogs' defenceman Chris Hajt and the Portland Pirates. The Bulldogs will conclude the weekend with a game against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks on Sat., Dec. 21. All three Bulldogs home games start at 7:00 p.m.
