Manitoba Moose News Release
The Vancouver Canucks announced that they have recalled forward Zenith Komarniski from the Manitoba Moose. Komarniski had 15 points (nine goals, seven assists) with 39 penalty minutes in 27 AHL games.
Komarniski, 24, had a team-high and personal high four game scoring streak from Nov. 22-30. He is tied for the Moose lead in shorthanded goals with one and has also registered one power play tally this season.
After being assigned to Manitoba prior to the start of the 2001-02 campaign on Oct. 4, the defenceman converted to forward has scored at least one point in 12 matches and had two multi-point games. The Edmonton, AB native stands in sixth place in Moose scoring.
This will be Komarniski's first stint with Vancouver this season.
