TORONTO, ONT. - Hamilton Bulldogs forward Charles Hudon had a goal and two assists and goaltender Mike Condon made 25 saves to lead the 'Dogs (8-8-2-0) to a 5-1 win over the Toronto Marlies (5-10-2-0) at Ricoh Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.

Hamilton forward Maxime Macenauer opened the scoring with a wrist shot that beat Toronto goaltender Antoine Bibeau high at 11:40 of the first period. Forward Nick Sorkin had the only assist on Macenauer's second goal of the season.

Hudon made it 2-0 at 3:33 of the middle frame with a one-timer that beat Bibeau five hole for his sixth goal of the season. Forward Jacob de la Rose and defenceman Greg Pateryn has assists.

A 9:17 of the second period, Hamilton forward Sven Andrighetto split the Toronto defence and deked out Bibeau to notch his team-leading seventh goal of the season and give his club a 3-0 lead. Defencemen Davis Drewiske and Magnus Nygren collected assists.

Just over a minute into the third period, Toronto forward Matt Frattin got his club on the board, with assists to forward Spencer Abbott and defenceman Tom Nilsson.

Bulldogs defenceman Mac Bennett restored Hamilton's three-goal lead at 7:28 of the third period with a point shot through a screen for his second goal of the season. Nygren and Hudon notched assists.

Sorkin added a power play marker for his second goal of the season with less than two minutes to go to make it a 5-1 game. With a first assist on the play, forward T.J. Hensick extended his assist streak to five games. Hudon had a second assist to make for three points on the night, which moved him into a tie for first in the American Hockey League in rookie scoring with 18 points on the season.

Condon made 25 saves on 26 shots for the Bulldogs in the win, while Bibeau stopped 28 of 33 shots faced for the Marlies in the loss.

Hamilton went 1-for-4 on the power play, while Toronto was 0-for-2 with a man advantage.

The Bulldogs return to action next weekend when they face a home-and-home with the Lake Erie Monsters. The 'Dogs will visit the Monsters at Quicken Loans Arena on Friday, Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m., then they'll host the AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche at FirstOntario Centre on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
