Buffalo Bandits announce 2007 regular season schedule

BUFFALO, N.Y. (August 29, 2006) -- The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team's 2007 regular season National Lacrosse League schedule.

The 2006 Eastern Division Champions will open their 16-game schedule on Saturday, December 30 at Portland, where they will take on the LumberJax at 10:30 p.m. Buffalo will host the expansion franchise from New York in its home opener at HSBC Arena on January 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Buffalo's schedule also features a pair of home-and-home series against their rivals from Toronto and Rochester. The Bandits will play back-to-back games against the Toronto Rock on February 2 and 3, then close out the regular season versus the Rochester Knighthawks on April 13 and 14.

The Bandits will play four games against the two expansion teams this season. In addition to playing the yet-to-be-named New York franchise twice, Buffalo has two games against the Chicago Shamrox.
