
Minnesota Swarm Announces 2007 Schedule

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Minnesota Swarm's 2007 National Lacrosse League (NLL) schedule was released today. Minnesota will open its third season at home against the Chicago Shamrox on Saturday, January 13 at 7:00 PM.
The 2007 schedule consists of 16 games - eight at Xcel Energy Center and eight road contests. The Swarm's home schedule features one contest on Friday night, four games on Saturday night and three Sunday matches. Minnesota will play each team in the Eastern Division (Buffalo, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Rochester and Toronto) twice (once at home, once on the road) for a total of 12 games, and will play four contests against Western Division opponents including home games against Arizona and Colorado and road visits to Calgary and Portland. The top four teams from the Eastern and Western Divisions at season's end will advance to the playoffs, which remain in single-game elimination format.
The Swarm's game against the Toronto Rock on Saturday, March 24 at Xcel Energy Center is slated to start at approximately 10:30 PM following a Minnesota Wild home game against the Los Angeles Kings at 7:00 PM.
