The Bucks picked up their second straight win and improved to 3-1 in January with a 7-0 shutout win over Rio Grande Valley Friday night. Pier Pelletier picked up his first professional shutout as he stopped all 21 shots he faced to move the Bucks into a tie with the Bees for the final playoff spot in the Berry Conference.
Laredo is three points behind Arizona for seventh, four points behind Mississippi for sixth and just six points behind Tulsa and Texas for fourth place in the tight Berry Conference.
The Bucks and Americans have each won on each other's home ice this season with Laredo picking up a 5-4 shootout win on December 4th in Allen, with the Americans winning in Laredo 7-3 on November 12th.
All-Star Neil Trimm enters Saturday's game in the top five in the CHL in scoring with 50 points (13-3750) and is on a seven-game point streak.
Allen leads Bossier-Shreveport by eight points for first place in the conference and is coming off of a 3-0 shutout win over the Mudbugs Friday night.

Saturday February 12th the Bucks will host their first-ever Pucks for Autism night when Laredo hosts Bossier-Shreveport at Laredo Energy Arena.
