LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League host the first-place Allen Americans Tuesday night at Laredo Energy Arena. Game time is 7pm. Stop by ANY LFCU location in Laredo and get a $5 ticket voucher to the game, while supplies last. The $5 voucher is good for Tuesday's game only.

The Bucks close out a busy stretch Tuesday as they play their fifth game in eight nights. Laredo defeated Arizona 6-5 in overtime Sunday to close out a 2-1 weekend and move to two points behind the Sundogs for the final playoff spot in the Berry Conference. The Bucks will host the Sundogs on March 8th and 12th at the LEA.
The Bucks and Americans will close out their regular season series Tuesday with Laredo looking to beat Allen for the first time on home ice this year. The Bucks are 1-5 against the Americans this season (0-3 in Laredo), with Allen taking the last meeting in a 4-3 barn burner last Tuesday.
Since suffering through a franchise high four-game winless streak (0-3-1) the Americans have won four straight games, all by one goal each, to remain in first place in the CHL. Starting Tuesday in Laredo Allen will play six games in eight days.
The Bucks will head out on a two-game road trip this weekend playing at Bossier-Shreveport on Friday and Texas on Saturday.
ROCK THE PUCK FOR STARS MARCH 8th
The Bucks, along with Border Media, Webb County Constable Rodolfo "Rudy" Rodriguez, and L & F Distributors announced the first-ever "Rock the Puck for STARS" night on March 8th when the Bucks host Arizona at Laredo Energy Arena.
100% of ticket sales to the Bucks March 8th game against the Sundogs will go to benefit STARS (South Texas Academic Rising Scholars). Tickets are on sale now by calling 718-BUCK (2825), or by contacting Border Media at 725-1000. Donations will also allow students with special needs from both Laredo school districts to attend the game that night.
