The Waterloo Bucks (14-42, 4-17) fell 10-9 to the Duluth Huskies (38-18, 14-6) despite leading 6-0 at one point on Friday night.
Myles Emmerson (3-5, R, 2B, 4 RBI) had a monster day at the dish, while Kevin Welsh (2-4, 2 R, 2 RBI, BB, SB), Angelo Altavilla (2-4, BB, 3 R), and Carmen Sclafani (2-5, SB, RBI) all compiled multi-hit games.
All 10 of Duluth's runs were scored in the third.
Waterloo and Duluth continue their series at 6:35 p.m. on Saturday night.
